Dr. Seuss Week Fun

The Dr. Seuss challenge was amazing! Not all the classes were able to find time to compete but there were quite a few submissions! Turns out, they all won! PTO just couldn't decide on one winner per grade so they let all the participating classes get the 'surprise'.

And we were so impressed with the poems that they are on display in the hall. Be sure to stop and read them when you come to Carnival this Friday!

The 'surprise' was a Dr. Seuss style cupcake for all the kids in each class!

Complete with colorful sprinkles and candy hats! Here are some pics shot during the cupcake delivery...

Each class also got a Dr. Seuss book and stuffed character for their classroom.

Carnival Raffle Baskets

Hey Wolverines -

Just a reminder the raffle basket donations are due very soon! We've gotten a lot of great items donated but could still use a few more things. In case you misplaced the letter, here is each grade's basket theme:

Kindergarten - Family Game Night

Cotton Candy Sale

Tomorrow there will be cotton candy for sale! Only $1.00 and all the proceeds will go towards our field trip fund! This month's goal is to make enough to send the 1st graders on a field trip.

Want to help out with cotton candy? It looks like the cotton candy sales are here to stay! We are putting together a team of volunteers who would be willing to come and spin some sugar once a month - please let us know if you are interested!

6:00pm to 9:00pm

PTO is working furiously to get the Carnival planned. As a matter of fact, we are now having weekly carnival meetings. If you would like to help out with anything before, during or after the carnival please let us know! We need lots of volunteers to ensure that our kids and families have a great time. Meetings are every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. You will find us in the gym, library or in the PTO office! Can't make a meeting? No problem - just leave us a message at the school or send us an email and we will get in touch with you!
